Music lessons are a great way to build confidence, foster creativity, and learn about learning. They are also a great outlet for self expression. I’ve been teaching all age groups and skill levels, from young beginners to professionals, since 1998.
Developing my students' personal goals are my highest priority. Each private lesson is tailored individually to each student’s needs. Students usually pick a primary instrument and add extra time for further development of musical interests such as Jazz Improvisation, Song Writing or Music Production. Teaching private lessons since 1998 has given me the experience to be able to customize each student’s lessons to evolve along with the student's growing and changing interests.

This video is the result of an inspiring collaboration with my friend and band mate Anna Miles. When the Covid 19 pandemic forced our in person music lessons to change to video lessons we created a project to keep our students engaged and creative. Together we arranged and produced a 15 part version of Fall Out Boy’s song “Irresistible”. Each part was tailored to the skill level of the student playing it. It was an amazing experience to see the eyes of 13 students from Indiana and Connecticut light up as they saw all their hard work come together. I am so proud of everyone involved.
